Controllers are usually too self- sufficient
to ask for help when they need it,
too proud to say they are sorry,
too competitive to be intimate
and too self-centered
to listen to others' need.
SYMPTOMS
They believe that there is only one way to do things,
their way.
Their need for perfection interferes with their ability to
grasp the bigger picture.
They are formal in manner, stiff in carriage
and proper in conversation.
They are stingy but like to
appear generous.
They usually opt for the dominant role
in their families.
Their consuming need is to give a good impression
and to be in control at all times.
They pooh-pooh feelings and consider introspection
to be self-indulgent.
They secretly strive for recognition and
admiration.
They serve God through a demonstration
of moral perfection and the on going
correction of others.
Their fundamental attitude is, " Strive at all times
demonstrate your strength and superiority."
Let me end this by saying that most of the controllers
are analytical thinkers who repress their emotions,
bodily sensation and spiritual sensitivity.
